David Bartle


  
    David Bartle is a Garden Grove California native.  He began playing drums at the age of 12, performing with his high school marching bands and drum lines from 8th through 12th grade. He is currently attending Fullerton College with a major in Commercial/Applied Music, and performs with the Fullerton College Jazz Combo throughout Southern California (including a recent stint at Steamer Jazz Café in Fullerton, CA). During the 2003-2004 Drumline season he was the instructor for Katella High School Drumline. For the past 6 years he has kept busy teaching in addition to a full recording and performance schedule.

David is currently the Percussion Coach at El Rancho Middle School and Garden Grove High School.

David plays and has played with bands regularly throughout Los Angeles and O.C. region with such groups as After Miles, Bus Driver Roy as well as a number of Rock, Funk, Jazz, Latin, and folk groups. He is also currently playing corporate events with a Jazz/Fusion group out of Orange County. His recording credits include the After Miles album "Listen" and Bus Driver Roy's "The Death of Roy". Currently he is recording drums at Sound Matrix Studios in Fountain Valley for singer/songwriter Bruce Rogers upcoming album "Flea Circus".
 
He's also very tall.
