Private Guitar Instruction and Performance Classes for Rock and Blues Music

Born in New York and raised in California , Mark Wein has been performing and teaching Guitar in southern California for over 20 years. After graduating from Fullerton College with an Associates Degree in Commercial Music Performance, Mark worked steadily playing Guitar and singing with groups such as the swing group “The Scot Willy Combo”, blues bands “The New Originals” and “The Metropolitans” and rock groups such as “Felt”, “Ultralight”, Jennifer Corday and the cover band “All Star Trio”. The album “ Desert Center ” that Mark recorded with the band “Felt” can be purchased on iTunes and CDBaby.com. Throughout this time Mark worked as both a private Guitar Instructor and a music teacher at a local private school.

In 2004 Mark and his wife Christine opened Premier Music, a full service music school in the city of Orange, California complete with private lessons for Guitar, Voice, Drums, Piano, Bass and a variety of wind and string instruments. Performance classes such as the “Intro to Blues Class”, “The Rhythm and Groove Program” and the “Youth Rock Ensemble” round out the learning experience.

Mark is also the author of "Foundations for Guitar, which is the "house" method for teaching guitar at Premier Music.
