David Bartle

David Bartle is a Garden Grove California native. He began playing drums at the age of 12 , performing with his high school marching bands and drum lines from 8th through 12th grade. He is currently finishing his degree at Fullerton College with a major in Commercial/Applied Music, Performing with their Big Bands and Jazz combos as well as their Symphonic Winds group.

Outside of School he is constantly gigging and recording with different groups, either playing weddings, cooperate events or recording in the studio. As well as playing he has been teaching privately and coaching Drum Lines since 2003. He currently coaches Garden Grove High Schools award winning Drum Line, and El Rancho Middle School’s Drum Line. Along with coaching he composes and arranges music and drill design for the schools competition and concerts.

While while attending school at Fullerton College he has also completed their Recording Engineering/Production Certificate Program. He works with and is familiar with many music production programs; Pro Tools LE and HD (attended and completed Pro-Tools Certified Training) , Reason, Finale, Cubase, Logic, Digital Performer and many more. He Currently works for Sound Matrix Studios in Fountain Valley as an on Staff Engineer, He has tracked and/or mixed Demos and Albums for many southern California groups. to hear samples of his work you can visit SoundMatrixStudios.com.
